What is Train to Gain?
Available to Individuals who are

NVQ Level 2 training for those who do not as yet have a Level 2
qualification eg 5 GCSEs at 'C' or above
In certain circumstances learners can get funding to do NVQ Level

but employers will be asked to contribute £173 towards ESOL
training.

organisation (within any sector including the third/voluntary) that
is making use of the Train to Gain service. There is no minimum
limit to the number of hours worked by the volunteer and there is
no requirement for there to be a written agreement between the organisation
and the volunteer relating to their voluntary work.
